I've written four screenplays, one of which, FAULTLINE, was optioned a couple of years ago, but never sold. It was reviewed favorably by DreamWorks and made a buzz at 20th Century/Fox for about 15 minutes. The highlight of that ride was when I got to pitch the script with the Vice President of Production there in his office. Sure was fun, but I'm glad I didn't have to go back to bussing tables when it didn't go anywhere.
Briefly, FAULTLINE is a JURASSIC PARK meets EARTHQUAKE story where scientists have figured out a way to control earthquakes. Instead of having a random event every hundred years or so that devastates an area, they intentionally set off a small tremor the first Saturday of every month at noon -- kind of like the global chiropractor.
My other three completed scripts are called TALL TALE II (a sequel to a Disney film), ON CALL, and THE MAGIC FACTORY.
When I get some more time, I'll tell you all about them... If you are an agent, literary manager, or producer and would like to request a screenplay, treatment, or coverage, please send me an e-mail. You can also receive professional reviews of some of my works by directly contacting Natalie Lemberg Rothenberg at InsidersSystem@msn.com. Her excellent company, Insiders System for Writers, provides coverage for screenplays, novels and other written works and showcases that coverage in a quarterly journal, Writer's Showcase. If you are an aspiring writer and don't yet have representation through an agent, her company is a great place to start.
